About Us During October 2003, Rev. Fr. Ben Opara established this organization in the state of Maryland in the United States of America (USA) with focus on assisting needy children around the world.  Africa Handicap Relief Fund, Inc. (AHRFI), is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sanctioned non-profit Organization, and your contributions are tax deductible.   AHFRI provides support directly to the needy, without much bureaucracy.  In fact, since its inception, AHRFI has on the average spent 88 cents on the dollar towards supporting needy children.  A majority of AHRFI's cost of operation (12 cents on the dollar) has primarily been transportation and delivery expenses related to directly providing needed services to individuals in Africa.
